A unique large-scale public engagement event on August 30th 2026 in County Sligo.

This Tread Softly Festival event saw up to approx. 700 participants recreating a 5000-year-old stone carving discovered in 2009 on Cairn B of the Carrowkeel megalithic site in the Bricklieve Mountains of County Sligo.

Carrowkeel is part of The Passage Tomb Landscape of Sligo World Heritage bid.
